On Tuesday April 5th, 2016 at 1346 the building fire assignment went out for the unit block of Meredith Court in Modena Borough, a Modena Fire Company local. Also dispatched were Coatesville, Westwood, Sadsburyville, Cochranville, Coatesville VA and Chester County Haz Mat 15.

Building occupants reported the fire alarm activated and there was in active fire in the area of the loading dock. Prior to the arrival of the fire department, site personnel were actively putting water on the fire to extinguish it.

Ambulance 44-1, Traffic 44 and Engine 44-5 all made the response 1351.

Modena Deputy Chief Wilmont arrived on location and reduced the rate of the incoming apparatus reporting the fire to be knocked down with a smoke condition inside of the large structure. At 1356 Deputy 37 held the assignment to Modena, Coatesville, Westwood and Coatesville VA. Westwood units cleared the scene at 1409.
