On Wednesday March 29th, 2017 at 2114, Fire, Rescue and EMS services from Westwood were dispatched to the 600 block of West Lincoln Highway in Valley Township for an auto accident. Calls to 911 indicated the type code to be serious in nature with the vehicle being reported overturned.

Assistant 44 and Ambulance 44-1 arrived at 2119 and confirmed the reports, adding everybody out of the vehicle. Additional Fire Police from the Sadsburyville Fire Company were requested to shut down West Lincoln Highway at Old Lincoln Highway.

After evaluating the patient it was determined advance life support (Medic 93) was not needed and recalled. A tow truck company was on scene to remove the vehicle from the road and Valley Township was investigating the accident. Westwood units cleared the scene within 30 minutes of being dispatched.
