Annually the Pennsylvania American Water Company provides grant funding to local fire companies for various purchases of their choosing. Locally PAWC has an office off of Airport Road in West Caln Township.

Assistance was requested to buy an Automated External Defibrillator trainer to be used by our trained medical personnel. All of our apparatus and station are fully equipped with AEDs and related medical equipment. AEDs check the heart rhythm and send an electric shock to try to restore a normal rythym.

A trainer was purchased to ensure our personnel have the proper training to use the effective life saving equipment. Thank you PAWC for providing us with funding for this project to help save lives in the communities that we serve.
