Trunk or Treat at Rainbow

On Thursday October 26th, 2017 the Westwood Fire Company provided lighting assistance to an event held at the Rainbow Elementary School in Valley Township. The event taking place was the annual Haunted Hallways and was attended by nearly 1,000 people of the school and community.

This year’s event added a special trunk or treat held on the exterior of the building. Our assistance was requested to provide lighting as the trunk or treat was not held in a well lit area.

Fortunately due to a grant received 2 years ago, we were able to use our portable light tower to light the area. This light tower has provided much assistance on numerous occasions such as emergency calls, investigations and even polling locations during the last presidential election.
