A fire broke out just after noon in the unit block of Cenetary Road in Valley Township. A resident was reportedly burning uncontrollably when the fire spread to nearby brush.

Additional units from the Sadsburyville Fire Company were summoned to control the fire. Westwood and Sadsburyville firefighters had the blaze under control in just under 15 minutes after arriving.
