On May 28th, 2019 the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Lower Gap Road in South Coatesville Boro for a house on fire. Also responding was the Modena Fire Company, VA Fire Department and the City of Coatesville Bureau of Fire.

Firefighters arrived to find a structure fully involed in flames and immediately went to exterior operations. A ladder pipe was raised to douse the flames and multiple hand lines were in service. A tanker task force was called to bring additional water to the scene to support the operation. Engine 44-5, a 3,000 gallon pumper tanker, was utilized as part of this water source.
