Auto Accident Assist in Parkesburg

On Wednesday, September 7th, 2011 Rescue 44 was dispatched at 1806 to assist the Parkesburg Fire Company at the intersection of Route 10 and Route 372 in Parkesburg Borough for a reported vehicle accident.

Rescue 44 responded three minutes after dispatch at 1809.

Parkesburg Engine 28 responded at 1811 and check the initial location reported and could not locate an accident. Supplemental reports then indicated that the accident was located on Route 10 in the area of the Crystal Springs Apartments, just south of Sadsbury Road.

Ambulance 44 responded to assist at 1813.

Westwood Fire and EMS crews arrived on the scene and were advised to standby until it was determined what services would be needed.

EMS crews from Parkesburg tended to one injured patient who required transport to a local hospital for treatment.

Rescue 44 and Ambulance 44 were released from the scene at 1825.
