Assistant Chief Chester A. Taylor passed away in January and several members placed a wreath on his grave site at the Hephzibah Cemetery on Christmas Eve. 2009 was another successful year for the Fire Company. The Fire/Rescue division will respond to approximately 300 calls for service and the EMS division will respond to over 600 emergency medical incidents. Each year, we rely on our dedicated volunteers to make these responses. In 2010, we look forward to our major facility renovation, a new Ambulance, and plans for replacement of our Pumper/Tanker. The Officers and Members of the Westwood Fire Company would like to wish everyone a very safe and Happy Holiday season and best wishes for a prosperous New Year!
