On Friday, June 20th, 2014 during the early morning rush hour, Ambulance 44-1 and Westwood Fire Police were dispatched at 0726 to the 1200 block of Airport Road in the area of the Moose Lodge in Valley Township for an auto accident.

Battalion Chief Sly arrived on the scene at 0732 and confirmed two vehicles in the intersection following a collision which occurred at the Route 30 Bypass offramp.

The drivers of each vehicle both suffered moderate injuries.

Ambulance 44-1 arrived on the scene while Fire Police Lieutenant Pilotti assisted with traffic control diverting traffic around the incident.

Ambulance 144 was requested to transport the second of the two patients.

Both ambulances transported to Brandywine Hospital.
