On Tuesday, June 24th, 2014 the Westwood Fire Company attended the funeral services of Past President and Assistant Chief Ronald Supplee of the Sadsburyville Fire Company.

The visitation, viewing, and funeral services were held at the Wilde Funeral Home in Parkesburg with the interment taking place at the Upper Octorara Cemetery in Sadsbury Township.

During the services, Engine 44-5 remained staffed and available to respond to calls covering for the Sadsburyville Fire Company so that their members could grieve and offer support to the family.

The Supplee family has had a long history of service with the Sadsburyville Fire Company, and remain dedicated to serving today as one of our primary mutual aid agencies.

Ronald Supplee originally joined the Fire Company in 1960 and served as First Assistant Chief for many years. He also served our Country honorably as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

Our thoughts are with the Supplee family during this time.
