Auto Accident Along Lincoln Highway In Valley Township

On Saturday, August 2nd, 2014, Ambulance 44-1 and Westwood Fire Police were dispatched at 1001 for a reported auto accident in the area of Lincoln Highway and Airport Road.

Ambulance 44-1, Traffic 44, and Battalion 44 Sly all made the response shortly after the dispatch and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that a caller was reporting a single vehicle overturned off of the roadway and into the woods and was unsure if there were any injuries.

Battalion 44 arrived on the scene 3 minutes after dispatch at 1004 to confirm the report and advised that the operator had fled the scene. As Ambulance 44-1 was responding to the scene, the crew was on the lookout for the operator. No trace of the driver or vehicle occupants was located in the area.

Traffic 44 remained on the scene assisting the Valley Township Police Department with traffic control until the arrival of the local tow company.

Traffic and Battalion 44 cleared the scene at 1041.
