Single Vehicle Accident on Lincoln Highway

On Monday, September 8th, 2014 Westwood EMS and Fire Police were dispatched at 1210 to Business Route 30 East of Airport Road for a report of a vehicle accident with unknown injuries.

Ambulance 44-1 was on the road at the time of dispatch and responded immediately, arriving at the scene within just 2 minutes.

Crews found a single vehicle had traveled off the roadway and struck a tree, injuring the driver.

Medic 93 was requested to respond to the scene due to the situation of the injuries sustained in the accident.

Traffic 44 and Fire Police responded to assist with traffic control around the incident scene.

Ambulance 44-1 and Medic 93-4 transported the patient to Brandywine Hospital for treatment.

Upon the arrival of Fling's Towing, the vehicle was removed and the roadway was reopened.

Ambulance 44-1 cleared the hospital at 1301.
