On Saturday, October 11th, 2014 ATV44 was requested to participate in a training exercise at the Wolf's Hollow County Park in West Fallowfield Township.

This training was conducted to gain experience for rescue dogs during search operations. Mason-Dixon Rescue Dogs coordinated the search evolutions.

Mason-Dixon Rescue Dogs is an all-volunteer search and rescue organization that provides professionally trained canine search and rescue teams to responsible agencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week serving Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.

Various fire and EMS personnel from the area were present in addition to Chester County Park Rangers. The final evolution conducted involved a simulated rescue of a person who had fallen down a steep incline.

ATV44 is equipped to handle various fire, rescue, and medical emergencies with two different skid units. Since receiving our ATV in 2011, we have been involved in the successful rescue of several offroad and environmental incidents.

Thanks to the Mason-Dixon Rescue Dogs organization for the photos!
