On July 25th, 2015 at 16:29 the Westwood Fire Company along with several other stations were dispatched for the engine to assist Modena Fire Company on a reported house fire in the 100 block of Bridle Path Lane in East Fallowfield Township.

Engine 44-5, Ambulance 44-1, Traffic 44, and Captain 37 all responded at 16:33 and were advised by the Chester County 911 Center that they were receiving several calls on this with fire showing. Captain 37 arrived and found a 2 story single family dwelling with fire through the roof and advised the 911 center to go ahead with a working fire dispatch which added a Rescue (Cochranville), Ladder (East Brandywine), Medic 93, and additional Ambulance (Washington Hose Company) to the assignment.

Captain 37 assumed the Bridle Path Command and advised Ladder 41 to setup for master stream operations as this fire would be a defensive attack. As more units arrived, crews were given various task to help extinguish the fire. A second alarm was requested for additional manpower due to the extreme heat and exhausted firefighters.

The fire was placed under control at @ 17:22 with all hands working.

We would like to thank the Honey Brook Fire Company for standing by at our station while our personnel operated at the fire scene.

All 44 units cleared the scene @ 18:44
