On Saturday January 9th, 2016 the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched at 2245 for a vehicle accident on Buck Run Road South of Jasons Way in East Fallowfield Township. At 2246 a second dispatch went out adding Medic 93 for a vehicle overturned with entrapment.

Deputy Chief Scott and Assistant Chief Deckman arrived on location at 2252 and confirmed a vehicle on its side with a patient that had self-extricated themselves and had a possible head injury.

Ambulance 44-1 arrived at 2256 and began patient care. Traffic 44 also responded and closed Southbound traffic on Buck Run Road at Springdell Road.

Rescue 44 was recalled at 2257 after it was confirmed to be one patient and they were out of the vehicle. Traffic 44 remained on the scene to assist the East Fallowfield Police Department with traffic control until the tow truck company could come and remove the vehicle from the roadway. Ambulance 44-1 and Medic 93-4 transported one patient to a local hospital for further evaluation.
