On Friday, June 24th, 2016 units from the Westwood Fire Company were utilized on display at the graduation ceremony for 2016's Junior Firefighter Camp, hosted by the Chester County Department of Emergency Services at the Public Safety Training Facility in South Coatesville Borough.

Rescue 44 along with Ambulance 44-1 were both on display as crews spent the morning speaking with the junior cadets, elaborating on the information they received throughout the week as well as discussing the diversity of the apparatus in attendance.

The cadets were exposed to a wide variety of tools and equipment they had not previously been exposed to. Friends and family members of the graduates came to witness the accomplishments they achieved throughout the week-long training session.

The cadets were also able to witness the camaraderie that is almost exclusive to the fire service, as many agencies came together to expand their knowledge and congratulate them on completing this year's Junior Camp.

Congratulations to the 22 graduates of Junior Camp 2016!
