Midday Accident in Newlinville

Around the midday, the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched to Newlinville Road East of Jane Street for an auto accident. The caller reported a two vehicle accident not blocking the roadway.

Battalion Chief Sly arrived within minutes and confirmed the report including minor injuries. Ambulance 44-1 and Traffic 44 made an immediate response.

Due to no fire department services being required, the Rescue Squad response was cancelled.

Ambulance 44-1 transported one to a local hospital for further evaluation and Traffic 44 assisted provided traffic control.
