Auto Accident Reported With Entrapment Turns Minor on the Route 30 Bypass

Firefighters responded to a late night accident Tuesday on the Route 30 Bypass Eastbound East of Route 82. The call came in around 2200 and volunteers and career EMS immediately responded. Reports indicated one vehicle collided with a guard rail and possibly people were trapped inside the vehicle.

Brandywine Paramedic High arrived first indicating a one vehicle accident with no entrapment. Fire units proceeded in to provide EMS with road blockage while they evaluated the people involved.

In the end all patients refused treatment sending all EMS units back to quarters. Fling's Towing was on location to remove the vehicle from the roadway that was facing the wrong direction after its collision. The Pennsylvania State Police were on location investigating the incident.
