On Saturday May 2nd, 2020 at 1528 hours, the house fire assignment was alerted for the 300 block of Reeceville Road in West Brandywine Township, an East Brandywine Fire Company local. Other units were also on the response from Wagontown, Coatesville, Thorndale, Glen Moore, West Bradford and Lionville.

Arriving first due, West Whiteland Chief Miller reported a working house fire and a working fire dispatch was transmitted bringing additional resources to the scene. MICU 144 for rehab and fire scene standby and Engine 44-5 for water and manpower both responded to the fire.

Upon arrival of Coatesville Engine 43-1, multiple hand lines were placed into service to begin suppressing the fire. East Brandywine Engine and Truck arrived next and backed up the first in crews and ascended to the roof for vertical ventilation. Westwood firefighters also assisted with the roof operations.

All units cooperatively worked together to bring the fire under control within 6 minutes of arriving on scene. East Brandywine Chief Damico had command of the incident while Deputy Chief Edwards had operations and Wagontown Deputy Chief Reber had water supply.
