On July 8th, 2020 in the early morning hours, the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched to Innisbrook Lane in Valley Township for an automobile on fire. Engine 44-5, Ambulance 44-1 and the chief officers all responded to this reported fire.

Assistant Chief Grossman arrived first and reported an automobile fully involved. Engine 44-5 arrived next and firefighters stretched the front bumper line to knock down the fire. Crews deployed an ABC fire extinguisher to control a fuel fire burning downstream and underneath of the car.

The fire was under control within 10 minutes of Engine 44-5 arriving with all hands working. Valley Township PD was on scene to conduct an investigation.
