Members gathered in our hall to enjoy a dinner and crew fellowship

The 2021 Awards ceremony was held online due to issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic

Paramedic Max Scheibe and EMT Justin Carro were awarded a Clinical Save Commendation for saving a victim in cardiac arrest on June 22, 2019

Paramedic Beth Case, EMTs Joe Crawford, Abigail Akins, Jason Meeks, and Fire Chief Mike McWilliams were awarded a Clinical Save Commendation for saving a victim in cardiac arrest on August 10, 2020

EMTs Justin Carro and Brandi Carro were awarded a Clinical Save Commendation for saving a victim in cardiac arrest on September 17, 2020

EMT Michele King was honored for a Lifesaving Clinical Excellence Commendation

On Thursday, May 20th, 2021 our members joined together at our main station for dinner and to participate in the "virtual" Chester County EMS Council awards ceremony during the National EMS Week celebration. Over the past year, throughout a global pandemic, our teams have been faced with challenges never before seen in emergency services; and it was a great opportunity to take time and acknowledge the great service our team provides to the community. Multiple Westwood staff were awarded various commendations for life saving actions. Our dedicated providers awarded tonight include: Lifesaving Clinical Excellence Commendation: EMT Michele King Clinical Save Commendations: Paramedic Beth Case AEMT Joe Crawford EMT Abby Akins EMT Jason Meeks Fire Chief Mike McWilliams EMT Brandie Carro EMT Justin Carro EMT Carley Stutzman EMT Jack Edgarton Prehospital Maternity Delivery: Paramedic Max Scheibe EMT Justin Carro Even in the midst of the awards ceremony, two of our ALS MICU units had to leave to respond to reports of a serious auto accident in West Caln Township. We our very proud of these award winners and all our staff who provides second-to-none service to all the communities we serve. We look forward to what the future brings!
