On Wednesday September 22nd, 2021 at 1004 hours, the Westwood Fire Company and mutual aid from the Modena and Cochranville Fire Companies were dispatched to the unit block of IMS Drive in East Fallowfield Townsip for a machinery fire. All units on the initial dispatch were on the street within minutes.

Engine 44-5 arrived to find an oil heating unit on fire. Firefighters used the front bumper hose line from Engine 44-5 to contain and suppress the fire.

Firefighters from all 3 fire companies were in service for nearly an hour bringing the fire under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
