Company Mourns the loss of Harvey McDonald

The Westwood Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of Life Member and long-time bingo leader, Harvey McDonald. Harvey McDonald, along with his wife Betty, worked bingo at the Westwood Fire Company for many years and raised countless funds for the fire company operation. Harvey also regularly attended meetings and was always a smiling face to enjoy around the fire station. Below is the obituary for Harvey-

Harvey L McDonald Jr, 88 passed away in his home, peacefully on June 19, 2022. He was a lifetime member of Westwood and West End fire company. Harvey enjoyed fishing, nascar, bingo, and casinos. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janet “Betty” McDonald and two daughters, Tina “Ralph” Sagliocco of Parkesburg, Kelly “Nick” Ohar of Parkesburg, 6 grandchild and 5 great grandchildren, and a sister Sandy Steen. He was preceded in death by a daughter Rebecca Sweigart and a sister Mary Donnelly. At the family’s request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Westwood Fire Company. Celebrate of life will be held by convenience of the family.

On Saturday October 8th, 2022, the family will be having a celebration of life for Harvey at the fire station on Valley Road in Valley Township.
