For the last year, career member Melanie Kempf has endured the training of becoming a Paramedic. Melanie has been in EMS as an EMT-B since 2017 and part of our team since 2021. Melanie received her education through Saint Joseph University of Lancaster, where she completed clinical time with LEMSA. Over the course of the last 12 months, this takes about 1200 hours of time between the classroom and clinical experience. In addition, Melanie still worked shifts at Westwood EMS. We are extremely proud of Melanie for accomplishing this certification to make a difference in the community during their time of need. Well done Paramedic Kempf! |
