Weekend Winter Storms Keep Westwood Personnel Busy |

| A series of winter storms swept through the region this weekend, keeping Westwood Fire Company and EMS personnel extremely busy. Between Friday and Sunday, crews responded to over 70+ emergencies across a response area stretching more than 200 square-miles — from West Nantmeal Township down to Penn Township, and from Salisbury Township to Caln Township. Among the many storm‑related incidents were several motor vehicle accidents, including two that were serious in nature. - Penn Township Multi‑Patient Accident – West Grove Fire Local Westwood EMS transported multiple patients from both major accidents to area hospitals for further evaluation. The Westwood Fire Division handled 11 calls over the weekend. Notable incidents included: Despite hazardous roadways, freezing temperatures, and a high call volume, Westwood’s fire and EMS personnel — along with our mutual‑aid partners — worked tirelessly to ensure the community remained safe throughout the storms. |
