Westwood EMS Responds Multiple Units to Coatesville Crash |

| Westwood EMS responded to a serious accident in Coatesville City tonight after a call came in at 19:21 reporting a vehicle into a building in the 800 block of East Lincoln Highway. Two MICUs, an Intermediate unit, and a chase medic were dispatched to assist Coatesville Fire. Upon arrival, responders discovered that a gas main had been sheared off, prompting an urgent request for PECO as gas vented into the area. Coatesville Fire deployed rescue tools to open the vehicle and extricate patients while EMS crews provided care and transported multiple individuals for further evaluation. Coatesville Police secured the roadway between 8th and 9th Avenues and began their investigation into the crash. Additional EMS support from Keystone Valley and Minquas were brought in to assist with patient care and scene operations. This was a high‑risk, multi‑agency response, and all crews worked swiftly under challenging conditions to stabilize the scene and protect the community. |
