On Friday, September 15th, 2006 Chief Sly received a phone call for some assistance. The Holloway Terrace Fire Company of New Castle County, Delaware, was ready to venture to the Delaware State Convention and needed standby crews to protect their community.

The Holloway Terrace Company was established in 1921. They operate out of one station in a urban area. They house Ambulance 20, Engine 205, Rescue 20, Squirt 20, MRU (Marine Rescue Unit) 20, as well as 2 rescue boats. They average approximately 550-600 fire calls annually. They have a small district but a large population as well as a large amount of mutual aid assists to neighboring fire companies.

Throughout the night Firefighter/EMT Grossman stood by with members of the Kimberton Fire Company and the Downingtown Fire Department. Crews were relieved at 0800 hours Saturday morning, and replaced with more firefighters of the same departments. No calls were answered during the period.
