| On Tuesday, May 1st, 2007 the City of Coatesville Fire Department and the Westwood Fire Company were simultaneously dispatched at 1828 to Route 82 just north of the "high bridge" for a reported vehicle accident.
Chief 44 responded at 1829 and reports were given of a two vehicle accident with at least one injury.
Coatesville Rescue 43 arrived on location and confirmed the initial report.
Assistant Chief Tracey of the City of Coatesville Fire Department reported that only units from the Coatesville Fire Department would be needed at the scene, with the exception of Westwood Ambulance and Fire Police. Rescue 44 was recalled from the call.
Within the next two minutes, Westwood Ambulance was also canceled as Washies Ambulance 41-1 was handling the only victims.
Westwood Fire Police assisted with traffic control until the units cleared the roadway.
All units cleared at 1847. |
