On Monday, September 10th, 2007 Engine 44-5 was dispatched at 1435 as part of a first alarm "Tanker Task Force" to assist the Wagontown Fire Company at a working house fire in the 200 block of Old Wilmington Road in West Caln Township. The Tanker Task Force was requested due to an insufficient water supply in that part of West Caln. Engine 44-5 responded along with the other tankers dispatched and were advised by the water supply operations team to supply additional water to Sadsburyville Engine 31-2 which was supplying the scene with water.

Engine 44-5 arrived and was advised by "Command 35" to send whatever crew they had up to the scene and meet White Horse Deputy Chief Beyer in the manpower staging area in front of the dwelling. Engine 44-5's crew reported to the manpower staging area and immediately got sent inside to assist with salvage and overhaul. Crews then took a much needed break in the rehabilation area which provided them with water and powerade. Captain Hume of the Parkesburg Fire Company ran the command post and asked the personnel to assist with repacking hoses back onto apparatus to be able and free units up from the scene. The Westwood crews, after finishing to repack hose onto various trucks, were advised by the Command that they could clear the scene and return back to their station.

Engine 44-5 cleared the scene at 1601.
