| On Wednesday evening June 9, 2010 the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched at 1745 to assist Modena Fire Company with Rescue 44 to an accident reported serous on Youngsburg Road in East Fallowfield Township.
Deputy Chief Dowlin from Modnea arrived on scene to found one vehicle overturned with one patient still inside. Deputy 37 assumed command, after further investigation it was determined that no need for hydraulic rescue equipment would be needed. Rescue 44 arrived and their crew assisted the EMS with patient packaging as the patient was already removed from the vehicle.
Traffic 37 and additional fire police from both Modena and Westwood closed Youngsburg Road between Upper and Lower Gap Roads.
Ambulance 37-1 transported one to Brandywine Hospital to be evaluated, Rescue 44 was released from scene.
A & R towing up righted the vehicle and removed it from the scene, command was terminated and all units cleared the scene at 1827. |
