On Saturday, New Year's Day 2011, Westwood Ambulance was dispatched at 1510 to an auto accident with unknown injuries in the 300 block of Strode Avenue.

Initial reports indicated that a vehicle had struck mailboxes and billboard sign with 2 patients to be checked for injuries.

Ambulance 44-1 responded at 1515 and arrived on scene three minutes later to find one vehicle under the large billboard sign on Strode Avenue. The 2 occupants had been wearing their seatbelts and were fortunately unharmed and did not wish to be treated or transported.

Ambulance 44-1 cleared the scene at 1525.
