Ambulance Assists at Auto Accident in Highland Township

On Thursday, July 7th, 2011 Ambulance 44 was dispatched at 1130 to assist the Parkesburg Fire Company operating at an auto accident on Route 10 at Highland Road in Highland Township.

Ambulance 44-1 responded immediately at the time of dispatch.

Chief McWilliams also responded to the scene to assist.

Ambulance 44-1 arrived on the scene to find a head-on two vehicle accident and crews were directed to transport one patient to Brandywine Hospital along with Medic 93.

A total of five patients were transported to various hospitals by Ambulances from Parkesburg, Westwood, Washies, and Pomeroy Ambulances.

Ambulance 44-1 was available at 1223.

During this incident, Tac 44 responded to a second medical call on Airport Road in Valley Township for an injured person.
