House Fire in Doe Run Farms

On Tuesday April 27th, 2021 at 1658 hours, the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Clearfield Lane in the Doe Run Farms lll section of East Fallowfield Township for a house fire assisting the Modena Fire Company. Automatic aid from Coatesville and Keystone Valley were also on the assignment.

Auto Fire on the Westbound Route 30 Bypass

On Tuesday April 27th, 2021 at 1149 hours, the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched to the westbound Route 30 Bypass in Valley Township for an automobile on fire. Within 2 minutes of being dispatched, a PA State Police Trooper was on scene confirming a working car fire. Engine 44-5 and MICU 44-1 were both responding.

Building Fire on Strode Avenue, Valley Township

Westwood Newsdesk, April 24

Today at 1600 hours the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched to the 300 block of Strode Avenue in Valley Township for an automatic fire alarm. Engine 44-5 and MICU 44-1 were both on the street within 2 minutes of dispatch.

Arriving first due at 1606 hours, Engine 44-5 received a report from the on site staff that there was smoke in the building.

On Friday April 23rd, 2021 at 1832 hours the Westwood Fire Company and automatic aid from Coatesville, Sadsburyville and Wagontown were dispatched to the 900 block of Charles Street in Valley Township for the report of smoke in a dwelling. Calls to 911 indicated smoke was filling the residence from an unknown source.
