On Augusta 6th, 2020, Rescue and EMS crews from Westwood were dispatched to Longview Drive in East Fallowfield Township for an auto accident with entrapment.

Rescue 44 arrived and firefighters went in service with personnel from the Modena Fire Company to extricate a patient out of a pickup truck that was trapped after leaving the roadway and colliding with a tree in a ditch. Many tools and equipment were used in this extrication that took about 30 minutes to complete.

Once extricated, EMS transported the single patient to a trauma center for further evaluation. The East Fallowfield Township Police Department was on scene to investigate the incident.
