It is with great sadness we share the passing of Fire Chief Dave Aberts. Chief Aberts was the Fire Chief of the Thorndale Fire Company from 1995-2010 and a Professional Firefighter with the City of Coatesville retiring in 2018. Chief Aberts was a leader and mentor to many involved in the Westwood Fire Company.

Dave had the luxury of housing our Rescue Truck in 2007 under the command of Chief Sly. We join with many other colleagues and his family who mourn in his loss.
