I was one of the victims in the June 22 accident with multiple entrapment. All I remember is someone holding my hand, maybe one of you, while they cut the roof off our van and telling me to hang in there. I did hang in there, and so did my two friends who were in there with me. We're all alive and doing well. Thank you for what you do.
Hey everyone!
I was one of the people involved in the accident on June 22, 2007 in West Marlborough. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Loretta (our driver) and Maggie (in the back seat) also send their blessings! You guys are amazing! God bless you and yours.
All my love,
Tiffany Schmid
Congrats on the Rescue Cert. I know the hard work that all of your members put into it. Today the state certified my department (South Butler VFD, Butler Co.), as an ALS Squad (QRS) and as the Advanced Rescue. Also the paperwork is being done for the 75% mark of FFI's. Keep up the good work!
Just wanted to send my thanks out to the quick response you guys made on Tuesday night with the lighting strike, and finding that the basement was on fire. A much bigger loss was avoided by your quick actions. Again, thank you so much!
Hello everyone, I just wanted to compliment you on the terrific job you did on Meadowbrook Lane this past Tuesday night. The fire you responded to was at the home of my very good friends. You all did an outstanding job especially Chief Sly in preventing a disaster for my friends. Thanks again and keep up the great work. Kevin Carr, Asst. Chief, Aston-Beechwoood Fire Company, Delco Station 72.

Hey Guys and Gals,
Thanks for the quick response last night (6/19/07) for the lighting struck tree and to the Chief for finding that the neighbors basement was on fire! Without you people they would have been in deep trouble! Thanks again!

Congratulations on your 60th Anniversary. We watched the parade from Valley Road. It was awesome!
Hi, I was checking out your site after attending the Anniversary Parade. What a nice job! I was checking out the archives and saw a picture of my father, Bill Barker. He passed away in 1999 along with my brother, Roland. Is there a way I can get a copy of it? If there are any other pictures of my dad I would love to see them. He was very active in the fire department when we were growing up in Westwood.
Thanks,
Terry

A huge THANK-YOU! to Westwood Fire Company for working so hard to save our dogs and puppies and small barn, silo, and house!!! The photographer did a fabulous job and we have been able to download the pictures. We feel very undeserving of all you did for us!
Grateful,
Leon & Gloria Lapp (Barn fire in Highland Township on Lenover Road)

Great job and best of luck on your 60th year of service and many more. God Bless you all on your special day. And bless of luck to all the other companies taking part on your special day. (GO CANTEEN 47!) May everyone enjoy your day and be safe!
I am a Life Member of the Westwood Fire Company. I visit the web site every day and am very proud of the work that all the members are doing. I am extremely proud of the faithful and long hours that John Sly has done for your fire company. I can see the company has come a long way in the three years I have been away. Again, roses to John for all your great work, I am proud to know you. Good luck in the future.
Just wanted to say hello and that you have a great site. You did a good article about the grant writing class at Alum Bank Fire Company. Just wanted to say thanks for including Shawnee Valley Fire Company in your article.
Just wanted to say hello. I used to be with Sadsburyville #31 & Westwood years ago. I miss it. Is the Bar open?

I was the first medical person to arrive at the scene on the Route 30 Bypass accident that happened on Sunday, November 26th with the two people trapped in separate cars. My husband and I did C-spine until asked to let others take over. I would like to thank them all for their hard work.
