On Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 members of the Westwood Fire Company completed the second day of an "Emergency Vehicle Operators Course" which is a requirement to operate our apparatus.
The classroom session was held the previous Wednesday and the practical session was completed on our property in the large parking lot.
We would like to thank our neighbors from the Modena Fire Company, the Dowlin family, for coming out to teach this program and re-certify our members to ensure everyone is trained to operate our vehicles.
Units:
Engine 44-5, Rescue 44, and Ambulance 44-1
The classroom portion to place inside our hall prior to the driving exercises
Crews recertified training on Emergency Vehicle Operations which is a requirement of the State's new EMS protocols
