| On Saturday July 23rd, 2016 at 1208 the Westwood Fire Company and Coatesville Fire Department were dispatched to the 1000 block of Manor Road in Valley Township for an auto accident.
Arriving within minutes firefighters discovered a two vehicle accident, partially in Valley Township and partially in the City of Coatesville.
EMS began evaluating their patients and determined a door would need to be removed to extricate a driver from its vehicle. Firefighters went in service with hydraulic rescue tools to complete this task.
After being extricated one patient was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. Fire Police assisted at both ends of the scene to shut down Route 82 including the Wagontown Fire Company Fire Police.
