On Tuesday July 15th, 2025 at 23:03, the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched to the eastbound Route 30 Bypass east of Route 82 in Valley Township for an auto accident. Rescue 44, MICU 44-1 and Traffic 44 all made an immediate response at the time of dispatch.

Units arrived to find one vehicle on its roof and one patient that self extricated from the vehicle. Westwood paramedics immediately triaged and treated the injured.

Rescue 44 arrived and blocked the scene from oncoming traffic. Traffic 44 also took position behind the Rescue for a buffer.

Firefighters secured the hazards on the vehicle and cleared the roadway of debris. Gazzerro’s Towing was summoned to the scene to remove the vehicle from the roadway. All units cleared the scene at 00:05.
