On Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 2:32 PM, the Westwood Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Sadsburyville Fire Company with a reported house fire in the 300 block of Broad Meadow Drive in Sadsbury Township. Engine 44‑5 and Chief 44 made an immediate response. Medic 344‑1 from the Sadsburyville station also responded.

Firefighters arrived within minutes to find a residential structure with active fire conditions. Rescue 31 arrived and advanced a hoseline to the exterior of the home, where the bulk of the fire was located. Ladder 08 arrived and assumed first‑due truck responsibilities, splitting to conduct an interior search and check for extension.

Thanks to the rapid response and coordinated efforts of all agencies on scene, the fire was quickly contained to the area of origin. The assignment was scaled back to units operating on location.
