Shortly after midnight, Westwood EMS was dispatched to assist at a building fire in the 300 block of East Lincoln Highway in Coatesville City. The incident occurred in a multi‑story high‑rise residential building after fire alarm activations were reported on Division 2, followed by multiple additional alarm signals.

The Coatesville City Fire Department was dispatched at 00:14 hours for the initial fire response. Firefighters arrived to find a working fire inside an apartment unit and immediately began evacuation efforts for residents on the affected floors. Crews quickly contained the fire to the area of origin, preventing significant extension throughout the building.

Reports indicated one burn victim. Intermediate 144‑1 was dispatched at 00:32 hours and arrived on scene within seven minutes to provide patient care.

Fire crews remained on location to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and to assist residents during the evacuation process.
