| Today, crews from the Westwood Fire Company were dispatched to the unit block of Prince Edward Drive in East Fallowfield Township for a report of a controlled burn. The East Fallowfield Township Police Department was already on location and requested fire department response to extinguish the fire.
This incident serves as an important reminder that outside burning is not permitted anywhere within our primary fire district, which includes Valley Township and East Fallowfield Township.
If the Westwood Fire Company is dispatched to an outside burning complaint, all fires will be extinguished, regardless of size, container, or intent.
